Beautiful smooth curves, simple letter shapes. Plenty of work. Splendid way to celebrate the great occasion. Congratulations to RM Oliver, and your great-grandson. 10/10
Thanks for the nice comments and good wishes :)
@fontcollector: Some good points there Dan - I have ammended the Z and quotation mark. I can't find anything that is causing the gap between the semicolon and cent sign ... the gap doesn't show up at all on the preview (see below)
Regarding the discrepancy between actual and shown characters ... 'RM Oliver' is a version of a full set that I am getting ready to release for sale. Having cloned the original, I erased some of the characters - but FS still shows the full number (214)
The revisions of Z and the straight double quotation mark make this terrific font even better. I'm pleased that you liked my suggestions, Ray!
As for the differing number of glyphs, I now understand the discrepancy. I've also noticed that when a saved character is deleted, the number does not decrease. Just a harmless glitch in the system, I suppose.
Best of luck with sales of the full version of RM Oliver!
Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “RM Oliver” is now a Top Pick.
Many thanks Mr M. :-)
MIRACLE!!
I attempted something like this with Roboto Sans, but it was a fail. Love it 10/10
Looks like one of those "for technical drawings" fonts used on blueprints, but it has a certain wow-factor. I'm glad you have not hidden this, after your intriguing comment under my "Alex" I simply had to have a look here! This font is clean and has a lot of personality. I'm glad "Oliver" got a TP. Am just downloading Oliver :) I hope the little man is doing well :)
When I read 'Looks like one of those "for technical drawings" fonts used on blueprints' it took me straight back to those plastic stencil sets that were used for the titles etc of tech. drawings ... I hadn't seen this in RM Oliver before.
The 'little man' will be two in August and just seems to laugh his way through life :)

We celebrate five years of FontStruct with an experimental new feature.
