Yay! Circle Cult got a brother! Great solutions on some characters...

Also great circle rendering, and even at different weights... Very worthy entry to the Circle Competition! Can you specify diameters and stroke weights?
Comment by Tobias Sommer (shasta) 9th june 2010
Yes - I was inspired to add the light weight by your Circle Cult :-)

The Spacerock fonts have an outer radius of 24 tiles, stroke weights of 6 tiles, with 6 tiles between the strokes on the Inline and Biline versions.

So, that means that the circles involved (both inside and outside) have radii of 6, 12, 18, and 24. You can clone the fonts and inspect them if you want :-)

I used a grid in CorelDraw to determine which angles to use.

I just realized you asked for diameters. They are, of course, 12, 24, 36, and 48.

I think I like this little brother of the Spacerock family best ... but they are all great. 10/10

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Spacerock Light” is now a Top Pick.

Nice work. It reminds me of BD Colonius. 10/10

I'd forgotten all about Colonius. I'm sure it was somewhere in the back of my mind when I was creating this. Although, the 's' was inspired by Unibody 8 Italic believe it or not!

That's a well rounded family you've raised there, Lex.

Really great. After cloning and inspecting you font could I ask how you were able to get those triangle bricks with different angles to the standard bricks provided? I'm finding it very difficult to build realistic curves like yours!
Comment by steve.king5891 29th june 2010
Would you mind if I used your curve in this font for another font I'm making? I cannot seem to figure out how to make a good one.
Great font by the way!

Go for it! That's what the creative commons license is for. Just make sure you follow the license.
