So much more complete, and very usable.

This font is really nice. I don't know what makes me like it, I just do.

This is the kind of font I would have expected from you! A masterpiece, again! Thanks a lot! FS 2.0 rules OK! (What amount of work to learn!).
Comment by elmoyenique 17th may 2010
I like this new version. It is lighter, more refined, more elegant. Thank you for sharing this. 10/10

Have you thought of perhaps shortening the 'r'. It's looking a bit droopy at the mo.
Comment by djnippa 17th may 2010
Wow, thanks everyone. I didn't think these few changes would elicit such positive responses.

@djnippa I'll have to think about the r. Thanks for your idea.

Union was pretty good to start with - this takes it to a whole new level.

Curses! I definitely meant to hit the 10 ... but suspect the lone 9 might be mine (in error)

@p2pnut Thank you!

LOL - that's what I thought ... so I am not responsible for the 9 ... phew!

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Union New” is now a Top Pick.

2.0 usage and restricting to standard-ish shapes makes the good gooder. :-)

A charming design. A really good use of FS that has an ineffible something about it. It manages to be disciplined and vivacious at the same time. Hot damn!
Comment by intaglio 19th may 2010
@afrojet Thanks for the TP!

@thalamic Thank you...you're the bestest!

@intaglio It probably doesn't show in my work, but I've learned much from studying yours.

@meek

I made a clone of Union New and opened it, made a small change, and then saved it.

I downloaded the Union New and the clone to test the new FontMortar features. Unfortunately, the clone is getting chopped vertically.

The sample below is from Word 2003, but I get the same results in any app.

@aphoria ok thanks I'll take a look. With new FontStructions, including clones, you don't need to do the "change then save" thing by the way.

Should be ok now. Please let me know if you notice further issues.
