The monospaced fonts are sometimes can be important, but most monospaced fonts selection is less flexible, selective, and the apperance sometimes doesn't seem to fit well, and this is why some fans of the porportional fonts designed a monospaced font that based or inspired from proportional fonts to improve the coding experinces.

Alex Console font uses simplified single-storey lowercase “a” alongside with unsual single-storey “æ”, flat-top digit “3”, opened-form digit “4”, and tail-less/straight-tail lowercase “t” to match well with the Outfit font.
