Well it wouldn't be an Intaglio if it didn't have those quirks now would it? If I were a real font psychologist (instead of just playing one on TV), I would diagnose Elvira with Multi-Serif Personality Disorder. And yet, I think she wears the disorder very well.
It'll be interesting to see if she can withstand the same treatment in the uppercase.
Actually, I don't think it's quirky at all. It's distinctive, but not quirky. Even though, the e is a neat little glyph which I'm loving in isolation, it seems to stand out a bit much from the rest. Maybe you can use it as a basis of the stencil version of this gem.
As usual, minimum, you're bang-on. That e is a little bit too frisky...
@afrojet: exactly. I've been avoiding the caps because I'm pessimistic. Cowardly, I know.
Thanks for the top pick! I've been dead but recently resurrected. My crap-of-an-H.P.-machine bit the dust again and the service bureau have been dragging the chain because I'm right at the end of its extended warranty period. Best $200 I ever spent. It's well and truly a Friday machine.

I think you need to fix that capital X.
