A font perfect for fancy greeting cards for Valentines' Day and other occasions. I was inspired by some of laynecom's fonts. Sample coming soon.

Very elegant. You are developing a very mature eye for this old font game Noah.

Looks quite playful! The 4 looks a bit like Y/y, would extending the crossbar of the cup to the right be possible? Or would that change the look too much?

Comment by Aeolien 23rd january 2016

@p2pnut: Thanks so much. I think I've really gotten better at making fonts since I came back to FS.

@Aeolien: Thanks for the comment! I'll fool around a bit with 4 and see what I can do.

I like this. And yes, you have gotten better. We all have. :) Suggestions: I would make the seven wider, i.e., not have the right serif, so that the middle section thins out like Z. I would change the top of the t, i.e., maybe make it like the leg of seven, but flipped? I would also raise the descenders on J and Q. My only other thing: could the rounded legs, i.e., A, K, M, N, R, X, et cetera, be leveled at the same height as the other serifs?

P.S. You could fix 4 by making the left leg round at the top, and the bar squared at the bottom.

Comment by TCWhite 23rd january 2016

*You could essentially just flip the left leg.

Comment by TCWhite 23rd january 2016

@TCWhite: I've made all the suggestions you asked, but I don't understand what you mean about the 4.

Check my version of this out. :)

I like your new Q and g.

Comment by TCWhite 25th january 2016

Yup, I think it works better this way. I changed the & as well, I included the old & and the old g on the grave and circumflex accents, though I might move them to some other character or the Private Use Area if these are required for something.

Here's a quickie sample, i'll make a better one later.

I put the one-storey g in the IPA, as that is where is belongs—the capital version is in Latin Extended-D. Nice sample. :)

Comment by TCWhite 25th january 2016

Thanks. I may do the same with the g in this one. Another sample is in the works.
