Opening day of Marvel's Captain America: New World Order movie! 

It's been so long since I've worked on a fontstruction, I forgot how to stack composite bricks. It's like going back to the gym after a long break and I can't do any heavy lifting and I'll be sore from it tomorrow.

This design is very retro Cap. The fill is a throwback to the original Captain America's comic book chain mail suit material. 

STF_WALDBAUER — Condensed modernist Bauhaus sans

This is rather a heavily condensed sans that sits halfway between a Bauhaus and Art-Deco style lettering.

The low waist, tall x-height, long ascenders and deep descenders give this font a somewhat elegant appeal. The uppercase set is clearly Art-Deco inspired, whereas the lowercase set leans more towards a playful Bauhaus mondernist style. Several characters have filled enclosed parts or other exaggerated features as well as non-filled alternate forms.

The idea for this font was inspired and extracted from a 1930s poster ad by Pál Vince for luxury luggage company Waldbauer.

The FontStruction's x-height is 3,5×1 grid units, so its tiny!

JS-SAVOIR GEOGRAPHIQUE ROUNDED (BOLD)

A revival based on the lettering sketches and studies by Dutch graphic designer Jurriaan Schrofer for the book series 'Le Savoir Geographique' and 'Le Savoir Historique' (1971-1974) by Pierre Gourou during his time with Dutch publishing and printing company Mouton & Co., which was based in The Hague.

This is a bold weight rounded variation to the original work by Schrofer.

Soft and rounded NUMBERS like long fairground balloons... and shadowed. The first was the 8 and then all the others arrived.

A tribute to Burton Kramer's legendary 1974 CBC "Exploding Pizza"/"Gem" Logo.

Ever since I came back from that wonderful trip to Canada, I asked myself "Is there a CBC font?". And now, there is.

*Inspired by the logo of a public radio station, the name is also an anagram for said staion.

I decided to extend Playtime by @afrojet to include more latin characters and uppercase.

BOOTSHAUS — Geometric "Bauhaus"-inspired modernist sans

Bootshaus is another endeavour into the Bauhaus realm of typography.  

Focus for this font lies mainly within it's broad choice of glyph alternate forms to select from for stylish texts or logos.

Much of the extra glyph alternative forms are loosely based on the lettering by Sascha Lobe for the Bauhaus-Archiv

Many more glyph alternative forms are planned to be included, stay tuned..

This is my FontStruct created for the What The Font project on the UWE Graphic Design Course 2023. My intention for this font was to combine both English and Korean aesthetics. I made this font using the symbols of the Korean alphabet called Hangul specifically in a calligraphic style. It is named Seoche which is the romanization of ‘typeface’ in Korean.

zerotime pixelized. Uppercase added.

A blocky sans serif. Not sure about the overshoots, they seemed a bit excessive in capitals (due to the larger flat edges) so I only kept them in the lowercase.

Lowercase font with some alternates (a, e, f, j, m, p, t, w) in the uppercase. The "tt" & "ff" ligatures are at the ""fi" & "ff" glyphs.
