This is inspired by everything and nothing. Since the first brick, "FS Signo" was made for titles and other big letterings.
one of my main ideas to this was trying to combine classic and modern styles of type in one font... hm.
there's no lower case in construction, but numerals and roman symbols to follow.
feel free to download and use it :)
PS: the normal preview sucks. best watch it in pixelpreview...

Basically the same as the original Box Cutter but the cap height is lowered so that the x-height is exactly half of the cap height and more of an equal proportion.

This is pretty much the same typeface as the original Box Cutter design but the corners for the letters where there would be a curve is beveled to make the face a bit smoother. This is a clone of Box Cutter

This is my first typeface for my typography class. Designed purposefully to have a very low x-height in proportion to the cap height, and generally have the same width for each character with certain exceptions.
If anyone could give me suggestions on how to create a better uppercase Z, it would be greatly appreciated because I don't like the one that I have.

This is my first font created here.
I tried to build the font only with straight lines and no curves. Small letters are only 6px X 6px and large letters are 8px X 10px. Diagonals play a very important role in the construction of each letter. Also diagonals are more thick than the horizontal and vertical lines if you notice. So I named it Diagonal Knife. I tried to keep the font as simple as possible using minimum number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Tried to keep the corners of the letters little blunt instead of very sharp.
Suggestion, Criticism, Appreciation are welcome. If you like the font or have any advice or request please do comment.

a type of being that frequents the fontstruct website and takes great personal satisfaction in the down-voting of fonts that have been created on fontstruct and in particular those that have received the pink dot. generally lacking in creatively and usually mentally, emotionally and physically unattractive; these "individuals" give themselves a boost of self-esteem by trying to denigrate the accomplishments of others. they have no real power in their feeble lives, but they usually get an immediate "rush" or "high" seeing the rating of a font lowered due to their actions, but ultimately become even more depressed and self-hating upon the realization that they can never achieve what others appear to do quite easily. they have fontstruct envy. they also know subconsciously that they don't have any talent, but instead of using their energy in a positive manner to develop their creative skills, they wallow in the mud and filth of their secret jealously. to use a twist on an old saying - those who can fontstruct and those who can't. period.

the western font family mostly uses the same grid size. started with wagon train, then desert rose, saloon, ironside, and finally cart before the horse which uses a narrower grid. they are similar, but unique and each evokes a different feeling - desert rose i think is simple and pretty with its flowerets, saloon is fancy and sassy, ironside is macho and machine-like, wagon train and cart before the horse are simple but also have some embellishments :)

To read this font, pronounce the glyphs as if they were words.
