"NN Sans Wide" is a semi-bold font designed for titling, signage, and high legibility in the Nwehu Nuswei language. Thanks to FontStructor "unci" whose "spacefurs" font served as the basis for the brick-patterns of most of the Nwehu Nuswei letters in "NN Sans Wide".
ABOUT NWEHU NUSWEI
Nwehu Nuswei (in IPA: [nwɛ'hə nə'swɛj]) is an artificial language for human discourse in speech, writing, and digital communication. It is not based on any existing human language, but makes use of human language "universals" whenever practicable to make it as easy as possible for all people to learn and use it. The language has been under development since 1976 as an intellectual exercise. The Website is at http://LarryKrieg.name/NN/
Because the word-structure is strictly Consonant-Vowel-Consonant-Vowel, each glyph represents either a consonant or a vowel, depending on its position in a word. There are 16 consonant sounds and 16 vocalic sound-combinations, hence 16 graphemes. Upper- and lower-case variants of each grapheme are offered in this font, giving 32 "letter" glyphs, plus 16 numeric glyphs (zero through fifteen), plus 9 punctuation marks that are not shared with Latin character-sets.
For ease in typing, NN glyphs are assigned to the closest corresponding Latin characters by sound. Glyphs representing vocalic sound combinations are assigned to accented vowels, so it is necessary to use a keyboard that makes accented Latin vowels available. The easiest on the basic standard computer keyboard is "US-international". This makes it possible to produce NN letters simply by typing Latin letters and formatting with an NN font.

finally! after N years! i can delete those unholy drafts from my graphing calculator. obviously the normal, correct way to use up battery power during self-study
rest in peace to one entire screen of drafts i overwrote by accident at some point
After Dmitriy added the beautiful Cyrillic set I added More Latin and some of that set's punctuation and symbols. That explains the "C+ML" of the name ;) I thought about adding Latin A but at the moment I can't figure out how to set the accents without breaking the ratio between UC-LC heights even further.
This is a clone of ABC CA recreation of the Super Mario Maker font. Now with lowercase characters and accents! UPDATES: Sep 13, 2015: I've also been made aware that the '7' has changed between the promotional material and the actual game. I've updated the actual '7' to reflect the in-game character as it is more legible. The '7' in the promotional art is now taking the place of the Dagger (†), because honestly, who uses that? In all seriousness, if anyone can suggest a better home for it, I'm all ears. Sep 17, 2015: Found a reference for the letter 'J' and updated accordingly. Nov 12, 2015: Several glyphs have been updated! Notable changes include the ugly old '*' being changed into a star, and the '†' being changed into a crown, as well as several minor tweaks here and there.
This is a clone of Super Mario MakerTHIS PROJECT IS OVER. THE FONT HAS BEEN RIPPED. CHECK THE SECOND COMMENT.
While I was watching the Mario Maker Direct, I noticed that the text now had lowercase. So I studied the UK version to get all the characters (except for 'f').
Update 1 (06/25): I found 'f' in some gameplay footage that was released
Update 1.5 (07/01): The 7 in the promotional art from SMM1 is now the official 7 for the font. Beginning work on accents.
Update 2 (07/26): Updated a, e, f, j, and z. Also fixed the 7. This is probably the most accurate it can get for now.
Update 3 (08/26): Recently I discovered that the bottoms of g and y are slightly shorter that the full length. I also found out that the k has a slight inverse effect so I fixed that. I also adjusted some wierd looking letters.
Update 4 (09/02): I was making something with this font, then realized the slashes were off, I modeled them off of the clear condition slash.
Update 5 (09/07): the ? was actually correct before whoops. I also found out there is a real ampersand in the game.
Update 6 (09/28): This project is moving to letters not possible in fonstruct so I will put a new download link here soon.
