This font is intended to replicate the appearance of old German printings of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
It has character designations similar to PDF preview files from Literaturmühle publishing. It includes many ligatures that were once common in printing (in German) which are difficult to imitate with computer fonts and have fallen out of use in the digital age.
This font includes ö,ä,ü,Ö,Ä,Ü and ß along with the following characters:
What you type: What you get:
c ch ligature
% ck ligature
^ ss ligature
\ ll ligature
< sch ligature
` (dash)
~ tz ligature
{ ff ligature
# st ligature
@ si ligature
$ c
} ft ligature
µ tt ligature
[ fi ligature
] fl ligature
ª sl ligature
& ⁊ (Tironian et)
s ſ (long "s")
+ s (small "s")
> (horizontal rule)
The Ligafaktur pragram available at http://www.ligafaktur.de/Startseite.html will allow you to type as normal while the program automatically replaces the individual letters with the correct ligatures. This is a clone

Just wanted to create something that exacerbated the "minim" problem in texturas. (lower case only)

This started as one of my first fonstructions, but I never got around to finishing it. The capital letters proved too vexing. But the lower case came out well enough. This is a clone

This is an experiment to blend blackletter and modern serif elements. Work in progress.

This was modelled after the type of an old German typewriter, with some liberties taken to provide for modern programming languages.
12-point size is pixel resolution (the only one this font is designed for). Also works well anti-aliased at 9-points.

A heavy metal variant. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Designed as part of a university project. I studied ornate Circus and Carnival style lettering which often incorporate intricate detailing within the letters. I have attempted to blend a particular lattice pattern with blackletter-style letter forms.

First font in a series (at least I hope so... :p): Micro Pocket-Sized Fonts (µpsf abbreviated). I tried to do some nostalgia and found some kind of black-and-white pocket game thingy, which made me make a small monospaced font (not exceeding the 5×10 area everything fits in, except for some combining characters for sigla, which turned out to be some kind of awesome and interesting Latin abbreviation method... I just couldn't let it be alone, there, on Wikipedia, so I had to make it pan-Latin-Unicode). Stressed serif fonts, sans-serif fonts and eventually even script fonts will come soon.

Inspired by the pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and the flying buttresses found in Gothic architecture and the calligraphic Gothic Hand, a young and undaunted designer set forth to minimize counter space and emphasize vertical height with only a few bricks. The result was a modular blackletter font with crossbars, serifs and finials embodying a sense of sideways movement. May the design gods have mercy on her soul. This is a clone

Clone of xe Callig. A whole lot better than the original. I've made the lines bleed into each other. This is a clone of xe Callig
