As you see, this is not a conventional font, it's more like a little picture game. Typing pairs of letters you can see some figures: AB = Dog, CD = Bockwurst, EF = Car, GH = Factory, IJ = Bike, KL = Truck, MN = Frankfurter, OP = Pinocchio, QR = Birthday Cake. But what happens if you write ASSSSB?... And with the others?... Try it and enjoy!
Another optical experiment, testing border areas. Sorry if sometimes it's a bit hard to read and it shakes your vision, but that was the idea. It has only been possible using the colour options available to FontStruct Patrons. Thanks once again to Big Rob Meek. PS: "2 in 1 font", the black version of the SVG file also can works like an usual B/W font.
Uppercase font with some alternates in the lowercase zone. You can find an extra third "S" in the "t" glyph. See also zhellbar, the solid colour version.
This is a clone of zhellbar Col eYe/FSWhen I first saw jonrgrover's Wiggly Wumpus, I told the author my first impressions about the font. After a few days, I finally decided to do it myself, and that's how these glyphs you see were born (thanks for the creative impulse, Jon). Achieving a smooth, sinuous curve has been a bit more laborious than expected, and there are some letters of complicated construction and I'm not 100% happy with the current look of some of those. But here they are, dancing infront of your eyes as if reflected in a fairground mirror. Btw, "Specula risus" (latin) means "Mirror of laughter", that kind of mirrors that visual and comically deforms our bodies... Hope you like them.
This is a cloneA decorative insular display font.
This is still a work in progress. I'm pushing the new bricks, stacking and nudging to the limit to create some nice flowing shapes. This is also a great opportunity to get working with some good kerning. Once I have the basic character set, this is going to be submitted to Google Fonts for approval.
Inspired by the works of regular_one. Unlike most fonts I've released recently, many of the glyphs had to be modified or even redone from scratch.
- M, W, m, w, @, #, %, <, >, ~, and the circumflex above accented letters were all too wide and had to be condensed;
- I, f, i, j, l, r, and t were all too narrow and were expanded a bit, mostly through the careful application of serifs;
- K, M, W, X, Y, v, w, y, 7, /, and \ all had ugly mixes of angles that needed to be redesigned;
- N, *, (, and ) were completely redesigned, and many more touched up, to fit better with the rest of the font.
Most of the edits made were not possible before nudging. It's still not perfect, but it's much better than it was before, and I'm proud of how much it has "grown up". Of course, suggestions and critiques are encouraged. Thanks and enjoy!
More of an experiment than an attempt at an amazing typeface, but I thought it'd be a fun entry nonetheless. Don't let the creation date fool you: I started this design in early 2014. There were many issues that had to be remedied before publishing, most notably the lack of characters and major discrepancies between the shapes of serifs (some were entirely triangular, others entirely curved). It's still heavily a work in progress. Suggestions are encouraged, especially for the Q and punctuation. Thanks and enjoy!
This is a cloneTwin brother of zeronda, with more spectacular and rare large serifs. This font is a pretty little thief to me: with its big serifs it stolen my hart. It was love at first sight, as soon as I started I couldn't stop adding them to the glyphs. Only caps/unicase, also includes an "a" and "e" alternates... and a little "c" in the "¢" glyph. Kern in progress. Enjoy.
