I wanted to try some 'deformation' of the perspective used for italic glyphs. It was fun to try, the font looks amusing and the slants are irreverent enough. I know that a word processor could change Raysan into an italic style but a word processed Raysan would be too predictable and without creative spark.
Despite the purposeful changing of lines specially the curved sections which don't follow any "perspective rule" this font looks italic. It has a pleasant rythm in longer headlines etc, and gives eye catching 'splash' text when used with the parent font.
It took quite a while to finish, I constantly fought the wish to make composites and stacks to get the correct shape and directions into the curves.
This is a clone of RaysanI have many clones of the basic version of Caractère, with different line thickness and with different arragements of diacritics and decoration elements. This is a version with many elegant decorative lines-swirls.
This is a cloneA font formed out of Truchet Tiles.
Truchet tiles are formed by taking a single tile composed of opposing quarter circles, then applying its inverse in a random fashion. Here, I've inverted the tiles to create outlines, then developed the negative aspects of the letters, thus creating a reversal of a reversal of a reversal! Boom! Now you're in the third dream level of Inception.

Only interesting in theory; the practical application leaves a lot to be desired. Incomplete as well. Only sharing now because vacations are over. Back to work from tomorrow moring. Won't really have time to work on this in any meaningful way anymore. Unless inspiration strikes out of somewhere and I am able to stay awake past my bedtime.
Every glyph has a counter rotated glyph or has self rotational symmetry—all except the c, which remains a loner loser.

Full disclosure: This fs was started before there was such a thing as Reverse competition.
Side story on the making: This fontstruction is deceptively simple. It was quite a challenge to execute. Just because the strokes seem flowing doesn't mean they are all placed in the logical grid block. The rounded-off ends forced the bricks to be placed in any of the 8 adjoining blocks and nudged into place. Consequently, due to the nature of nudge only moving as much as half a block in any direction, some compromises had to be made in the shapes.
Reverse in the visual context can mean many things. I decided to create letters and mirrored them, attaching them to a spine.The letters looked like filigree jewellery pendants.
I know that the I , T and W don't follow the design rule; I tried to align them on a spine but the result was unsatisfactory.
This is a cloneOut of 111 bricks used, only ten are from existing bricks; all the rest are custom bricks. There would have been a lot more bricks if most weren't rotated or flipped.
3 bricks tall.
This typeface was concevied two years ago and later shelved. Thought that it was still worth finishing so here it is. It's another take on the square dot matrix style that I did with the MinSha typeface back in 2010.

This is a clone of Chrysalide Modernhere's another art deco-inspired dot font. started with the lc then slowly built out the basic set. i was going to use the lc for uc as well, then started playing some more :) so here you have follies. i think the name fits since this is a playful set. and it's 2-in-1 - serif and sans serif all in one! and having a good time...at their own folly ;~

it's a dotty deco. the name is a play on zoot suit. i did the uc and was satisfied that it worked as a display font. i had a bunch of lc dot fonts in the trunk and decided to pair up a few to see how they looked together. all share the same uc. that's the zoot suite.
