      This font is designed to look alike Soviet typewriter font. A similar font was used by early-90's Russian-developed word processor, 'Lexicon' by Eugene Veselov.

                            Like Masphalt, the original inspiration for this one comes from Stefan Kjartansson's Black Slabbath. I think I played enough with it to make it my own. Like the two-story lowercase g and lowercase a. Squishing that middle stroke really gave this one a personality. I kept all the counters rectangular, try not to hide the hard edges. This is my first time going through the diacritics to give me a holler if you see something wrong.                            This is a clone

                                  Narrow and heavy, ultra bold Piano key designs once required fractional brick scaling to generate their distinctive slit-like counter forms while working with maximum curves. Composite stacks provide a more elegant and versatile solution to this old problem. In this way, they can be seen as an important milestone on the road toward individually scalable bricks...

                                  Letterspacing is kept tight in this fontstruction, but still needs a great deal of manual kerning especially around all the character lacking serifs on one or both sides.

                                      I came back for a while... Experiments with grid alteration led to something interesting. It resembles my older fonts quite a bit, but I feel like it's a bit more mature than most. I only used 5 bricks; the square and the four 45 degree slopes. Critique is welcome.

                                                                    A pixel-friendly semi-condensed slab serif fontstruction. Deceptively simple in appearance, variable stroke thickness is achieved through advanced filters and a one-brick stroke thickness for vertical strokes. I kept the spacing tight (and at an integer value) so it works decently well as a pixel font down to 8 pt (at 72 ppi this gives an x-height of four pixels and a breezily condensed form). Some funky spacing issues remain without kerning pairs. Kern as desired and remember to have some fun with it!                                                                    This is a clone

                                                                                                My take on Hellenic Wide, which I first saw in a Frank Chimero illustration. Some of his work looks ripped right out of the 50's and I love it. The capitals all fit pretty well into the FontStruct schema. I'd like to revisit this one sometime to see if it would work with a lighter stroke and skinnier character width.
