The standard font sets of the HD44780-A00 and -A02 combined, using only the 5x8 characters, and preferring the -A00 ones where there are differences between the two sets (the cent sign for instance). Characters with dual or triple purposes are filling all of their potential slots.
Note that the following 'basic ASCII' characters differ between the -A00 and -A02 masks of the HD44780: 'A', 'S', 'g', 'i', 'm', 'w', and '['. All of these charaters are using the A00 version here. This is a clone of HD44780 5x8
This typeface was designed as a response to the shift towards Online and Digital Communications that communities practice in modern society. Since the emergence Internet, people has more frequently resulted to email, messaging and other online connections as a means of communicating with each other as supposed to speaking directly in person.
This has limited the power of communication and removed many organic aspects of conversation. I feel this is particularly prevalent today as a result of the Covid pandemic and as people continue to feel more isolated, we loose the important subtleties in the way we discuss and exchange.
The character’s design was based off fonts like CMC7, MICR E13-B, CRT Screen Typography, the works of Gerard Unger, Wim Crouwel and other pieces of design created for the exchange of digital information between machines.

A font based on the cut out letter style used in punk aesthetics, but brought into the modern day with a pixelated style. Inspired by the theme of rebirth.
Monospaced version of CheddarSans by Fußmatte (aka Fussmatte, Doormat). As of now, the character set is limited compared to the original font (~400 glyphs vs. ~1000). Released under CC-BY-SA 3.0. Current version: 18.104.22.168
Finally, after hours and hours of work, I completed this font. The only problems are the letter "j", the quotation marks, and some other characters may make this font confusing to type at some points. But otherwise, this is one of my many fonts that I am most proud of. Hope you enjoy typing with this "masterpiece". Inspiration from Boomville 2.0.0.
This typeface has been created around the theme of community. In particular I looked at referencing the idea of the online/digital communities that we have all become so reliant on due to COVID-19 and being alone in isolation. I researched into the effects of lockdown on various peoples screent time and interviewed them, then used this as my thesis starting point. To create the concept, I experimented with different symbols that represent digital connection for example; wifi, signal and battery.
