For April Fool's day I propose a font that requires some "fooling around". I hope that your brain will get your fingers working correctly ;) Beware of the punctuation. Have fun puzzling this out to write correct letters (yesyes it is possible)
As part of my "First of month ..." series here is an outline font for July, ready to fill with juicy summer fruit and (ice) cream :)
Alternative letters with diacritics (free floating instead of attached, easier to read but less fun to look at;) ) are on the LC for French and German texts. An alternative 'S' which doesn't quite follow the construction rules but might be of interest, is on the LC 's'.
A decorative font to celebrate my birthday month :) Inspired by Art Deco elements I saw on a shop window and one of my early designer-cizes (did I just invent this word??lol) which thankfully I had kept private ;) because it was too muddle-messy to show.
I think that this version looks good enough to offer as my June freebee :D
I'll add further diacritics to complete the 'More Latin' band if somebody needs them
Another font in the "First of the Month" series.
Based on a shape experiment with octagons this design has grown into a 'real' font fit for headlines and messages to suit October and Hallows Eve/Halloween/Samhein. I'll add MoreLatin diacritics if you need them. It would look good on cards for Halloween.
Part of my "1 of the month" series of fonts I designed to welcome new months.
The "1st of a month" group was a fun idea but I found it a little complicated to do as I don't usually build several different fonts concurrently (ghosting happens too easily).
This font could be used to make tree decorations, gift tags, glass markers, place cards/napkin cards, etc. Just print on sturdy paper in large size and then cut out. Use pale grey ink if you want to decorate this paper base with collage, embroidery/stitching type work; print in coloured inks for a jazzy look which you enhance with dots of glitter glue or sparkly rhinestones. For a hanging decoration thread a length of yarn through the top 'rectangle' or you remove the rectangle's center to thread ribbon through it.
For some different fun you could glue your print on card stock and create greeting cards, jewellry pendants, shoe decorations. With a brooch back it could make a decoration of clothing, gift bags, hats.

This is a clone of fs biənsujWhile suffering some serious fonter's block, here's another "wonky" experiment: this time, based on my "21st Century Dot Matrix" font. Random numbers were used to determine each dot's nudged position for the vertical (–½ / –¼ / 0 / +¼ / +½), and another set of random numbers for the horizontal. Each position had an equal 20% chance of placement.
On the previous "wonky" font ("Wonky Pins"), I adjusted some dots manually to be more visually pleasing, but I refrained from doing that here. Because so many dots were nudged to extreme positions (–½ & +½ vertically and horizontally) WITHOUT further adjustment, the printed text is still legible but definitely not as refined at "Wonky Pins"...
This typeface was also based on 2 sets of dots this time: one randomized set for an even number of dots across a row (6 or 8), and the other set for an odd number of dots (7). Sometimes, even dots and odd dots are used together on the same row in order to match the placement in the original design. These blocks are present in the "À" position. A slightly larger generic block in position "Á" is only present to prevent word processors from 'cutting off' dots nudged too far vertically up or down; initial test printings resulted in ½ dots being printed at those extremes.
Perhaps another "wonky" experiment will place the extreme ends at a lower chance of occurance (perhaps 10%) while the other three (–¼ / 0 / +¼) more at likely at 26.67% each. Or perhaps an even higher chance that the dot is not even nudged at all, with lower likelihoods as you move outwards to the extremes. This might alleviate the need for any manual adjustments, yet still get the point across that something... something has gone wonky with the printer...
