Based on a typeface which was used in the opening credits of The Terminator, The Running Man, Class of 1999, and also used on Robert A. Heinlein's book covers (there's a font called Heinlein which is similar). I've been looking for the original for a long time but haven't found it, so I recreated it myself. (Edit: apparently it's called Bessellen)
Now updated to be closer to the original, plus added kerning.
After moving to a house on its own block, a party was in order and with it, a new typeface was developed to direct people around the new pad. The upper-case shifts up a block, and the 'fi' and 'fl' ligatures have a surprise for the people.
If you do decide to use Font Block, we'd be chuffed if you emailed us images of it in use, thanks.
This typeface was inspired by the work of two great Bauhaus movers, Theo van Doesburg (1883–1938) and Theo Ballmer (1902–1965) both of whom created an alphabet based on a basic 5x5 grid system. This is the 9x5 version for those of us who don't get to work that early.
If you do decide to use Font Theo, we'd be chuffed if you emailed us images of it in use, thanks.
