This type was made in our class of typhografy, we are from Portugal and we want to show you our work. This font have very elegant forms and contrast between stems, so that's why our font called "alterna" that means alternate in english. It's apropriate for tittles but you can use it for other things only as long as it's bigger than 20pt.
I love the look of this style. The name is self explanatory ;) if you know French.........
UC, numerals and some symbols have one line thicker than the others, LC only has the thinner lines. LC can be used on its own if even thickness of lines is desired but it is 3 px shorter than UC which will show clearly when using Basic Latin LC in combination with Hebrew, numerals, some symbols and some punctuation marks. Cyrillic and Hebrew added. Latin1 will come eventually ;)
An original Art font that uses the tops, bottoms & sometimes middles of a font to communicate the character. This requires users to read texts as opposed to scanning them, but because visual cues are available it is still legible.

A while ago I designed the Circe family; it is quite elegant and fine. This new version, based on Circe1, has thicker lines without being bold. This meant changing a few letter shapes and lines. While it can be used with the others I would discourage mixing the normal weight versions with this one due to the structural changes to many letters.
