I began this fontstruction as a challenge to create a seriffed pixel font with grid characteristics similar to iSlab’s 8 pt setting (bearing an x-height of four pixels). This inspiration began with similar shapes and roots as its predecessor, but evolved from there once it quickly became clear that those shapes really could not be reproduced with strict pixels.
Then I went on a bender creating the katakana and hiragana character set.
Then I went crazy with filters and single brick substitution.

A pixel-friendly semi-condensed slab serif fontstruction. Deceptively simple in appearance, variable stroke thickness is achieved through advanced filters and a one-brick stroke thickness for vertical strokes.
I kept the spacing tight (and at an integer value) so it works decently well as a pixel font down to 8 pt (at 72 ppi this gives an x-height of four pixels and a breezily condensed form). Some funky spacing issues remain without kerning pairs. Kern as desired and remember to have some fun with it!This is a clone

For now, apart from the provided 'fi' and 'fl' ligatures, all 'f-' and 'ff-' variations - and other alternatives - are within the capitals. More punctuation and to come and and any suggestions for further alternatives welcome.

This is a VERY solid, sturdy font. I was inspired to make this by the "chocobot solid" font. Not only did I make this very sturdy, but you will be amazed when you look at the block size of 4x5!

Brick is a typeface created in response to a university brief. We were asked to based our work on the word 'repetition' and so began looking at brickwork in architecture. In order to create the letterforms I sculpted each character from rectangular 'bricks' in a subtractive process, wasting as little as possible.

It's a tiny backwards font. You can "siht ekil epyt" and look at it in a mirror. All letters are no bigger than 4x5 (execpt for the # sign, I could not make it work.) in hindsight, 4x5 was a poor choice.

Clone of plain square mono.
Uppercase is bordered. Use "[" and "]" to open and close the line. Use "_" for a bordered space. Press shift and type the numbers above letter keys for bordered numbers. Use "," for bordered "." When kerning is set to "Metrics" the tracking of 60 eliminates all the gaps between the borders.
Lower register and Num pad work for non-bordered characters. This is a clone of plain square mono

A work in progress...
An attempt to construct upper and lower case using only a square and intersecting diagonals.
Some characters are repeated and others tenuous, so suggestions always welcome...
