This typeface is inspired by a traditional chicken noodle street food store in Indonesia. I want to make this typeface as simple as possible but also appealing in people's eyes. The chicken noodle contain noodle, minced chicken, chicken dumpling and of course some fried crispy pangsit. In each every stroke of the typeface there something sharp at the middle and that's represent the fried pangsit and also the typeface that i made is rather slim and semi elastic that represent the thin and almost chewy noodle.
the typeface was adapted from "nasi pecel" one of traditional food from indonesia. The food consisted of rice and a lot of vegetables. One of the vegetables is bean sprout that taken most of the idea to make this typeface especially the semi script one.
A typeface inspired by Indonesian Food, Sate Madura. Madura is a small island in East Java. They have a lot of traditional things which can not be found in another place. Their famous traditional culture are Sate (some people call it Satay), and their Madura pattern Batik. I decide to combine these contents into one typeface, and here it is!
A strong and bold sans serif typeface. This font is not completed yet, since it was published to be discussed in my class. Please leave your comment of what you think about this font :)
Ps. I'm still new on fontstruct, so please understand if this isn't perfect. Thank you!
I wanted to create my font based around the theme of cracks in buildings. I took Inspiration from the formation of cracks in buildings. Everyone is familiar with cracks in bricks, concrete blocks and walls of houses and how some of these cause structural instability. They take on all sorts of shapes and sizes. They can start thin and then widen following a zig zag path between points that resembles a lightening bolt. I want to recreate this cracking within my font. I started with a font style that had curves and straight edges associated with different building styles. I then constructed cracks from potential weak spots in the letters. I diffused the edges of these cracks to try and demonstrate crumbling concrete.
Update of my other font with the rough edges cleaned up. Also has Lithuanian and Scandinavian alphabet characters (kind of). Recently brushed up a little more. Hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.
