Tasked with creating a font surrounding the theme of Chaos & Order I looked at Nietzsche quote 'From Chaos Comes Order'. It interested me how the two can coexist and be found within one another. Produced was 'g l i t ch'. The uppercase of 'g l i t c h' is a chaotic version (based on glitchs and other chaotic patterns) of it's ordered lowercase counterpart.
Part of the 'Glitch Family'.
The lowercase is a modified version of 'Open Text Rounded' by Aron Kullander. This is a clone

Tasked with creating a font surrounding the theme of Chaos & Order I looked at Nietzsche quote 'From Chaos Comes Order'. It interested me how the two can coexist and be found within one another. Produced was 'Glitch Progressive'. This font is a combination of my previous font 'g l i t c h'. This time merging the two cases to produce 26 letters that combine legibility and concept.
Part of the 'Glitch Family'.

This typeface is 1 of the responses I had towards the word 'order'. It's not the most intricate of designs, but conveys the idea of order in the form of receipts clearly. This brief was created by my degree course.

This typeface is the response to the word order. I was influenced by Art Deco design, as well as the form of grids. It was developed by hand using a ruler and pen, experimenting with spacing and curves. The same shapes and angles are used right throughout, lending to the idea of an ordered typeface.

This is a display font that i have designed during the first term of my Graphic Design degree at UWE Bristol. I started with the word chaos, where i looked into propaganda posters, the breaking of objects and ordered lettering.
so using the idea of breaking apart text and overlaying outlines of a the font I created a visual chaos.
I believe that the font could be used in promotional posters and other advertising pieces.
All feedback is appreciated! This is a clone

A project dealing with the subject of order for UWE's communicating with words project at degree graphic design. Inspiration coming from the traffic system, in particular the way that junctions have been designed to direct traffic and keep order at the same time.
