OUDVREUGDE'S ONTWAKEN
A recap of the lettering by "Fre Cohen". And as additional supplement I attempted to complete the entire alphabet plus some punctuations.
In loving memory of the great Dutch graphical designer Frederika Sophia (Fré) Cohen(August 11, 1903 – June 14, 1943).
Corded modernist minimalism script typeface design.
It is trying to mimmic letters written with a bend metal wire or a chord.
It is only in lowercase letters at the moment no numerals and only very limited punctuations. But It is still very fun to play around with.
And my apologies for putting a sting of glyphs with only a line showing in the numeral block but I did this to make the pangram for the font show up in when viewed from the gallery
Letters based on the brand logo of CalpamSMD Olie B.V. a Dutch oil company.
Enjoy!

This is a clone of STF_HETERODYNE_(SOLID)Incised version for the LOOP typeface family with rounded corners.
This is a clone of STF_LOOP (ROUNDED)Drop shadow version for the STF_SUPER MA(RE-)O BROS. family.
This is a clone of STF_SUPER MA(RE-)O BROS.Outline version for STF_SUPER MA(RE-)O BROS. family.
This is a clone of STF_SUPER MA(RE-)O BROS.FABRICON-CAST is another style variation within the FABRICON family.
This style was inspired by metal casting and apart from some minor varriations I made to the punctuations it's very similar to the other styles in this family. Except that unlike the other styles this one will not combine seemlessly with the rest.

This is a clone of STF_HETERODYNE_(SOLID)Recap of the lettering seen on a old brochure by Wendingen for the "Internationale Theater Tentoonstelling Amsterdam 1922"
The brochure and letters were designed by:
"Hendricus Theodorus Wijdeveld" (4 october 1885 – 20 februari 1987).
As usual I completed the alphabet, but (since its mainly a display typeface) this time I used the punctuations to store some glyphs meant to be used for drawing ornamental decorations as seen on the original brochure design.
Recap of the lettering from Dutch hardware store-chain "GAMMA".
I have absolutely zero clue on who originally designed it.
(If someone here knows more about the origins please let me know, thanks)
Nonetheless it's a pretty cool futuristic looking design as well as a tribute to its predecessors that set the tone for the genre at the start of the last century.
As usual the alphabet is completed and some punctuations is added.
Inspired by the lettering found on a vintage sheet music cover art for "La Java bousculée" released in 1924. Cover illustration and letters are designed by "Robert Laroche".
I attempted to complete the alphabet and numeral plus some punctuations!
