This is a clone of Mr. KenEtcheverry, a font from GEOS. Named after Etcheverry Hall, UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
The upper case characters look like Glaser Stencil, but that was produced by URW++ in 1994. Etcheverry was produced and included in GEOS' FontPack PLUS in 1987-88. I wonder if they're both based on an older font? I created this copy of Etcheverry because I wanted lower case characters, which Glaster Stencil doesn't have.
A 2x2 design which started with a "split" aesthetic and ended up with a "stenciled" one. I embraced the change and now all these glyphs are functional as stencils. They contain minimal stacking and no composites.
In some cases the inside is connected to the outside at only one point. If you decide to use this for stencilling, I recommend using a stout material for the stencil and storing it with care.
The name comes from one of the many, many old joke bands which I created.
Recommended: Use with kerning turned on!
A piece of constructivism inspired by Dutch artistic movement "De Stijl".
This is a clone of STF_FABRICON_(OUTLINE)5x5 pixel font in which no lines are allowed to bend or touch at all. Where they would bend or touch, they are segmented instead.
Possible non-game uses for this: Circuit design, light arrangement, wiring design, αPX electronics, primitive writing systems...
Original size: 3.75pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
A stencil design in which diagonal cuts are used to imply angles and curves. It does not quite obey the rules of a segmented display, but it tries its best!
This is inspired by some text I put on the side of the Sheepslayer Mk.2, a flying dragon car piloted by Lyll "Hatch" Soretti in my game Seven Candles.
A stencil version of RC Dynamite made for laser cutting! Could also be an LCD Segment design with slight modification...
This is a clone of RC DynamiteThe first of a kind - an experimental font made with the new pizza slice brick. :D
Somehow it makes me think of jukeboxes, particularly letters like "A" and "O" which have the same sort of "mosaic lighting" look which many jukeboxes have.
No filters, just nudging!
Asymmetrical alien techno stencil.
This uses some experimental techniques, of course, but I'm not sure how to concisely explain those. Let's just say that each type of line bend and line connection has a rule associated with it. These get naturally modified by the structural asymmetry the font has so that simple rules appear in many forms and variations.
Experimenting with a new letter concept. This is not the final concept of course, but I developed this along the way, so I kept it.
For best results, use upper and lower case on seperate layers, then merge them together.
Recreation of the primary pixel font from Sin-Nihon Laser Soft/Telenet Japan/NEC's "Last Alert" (aka "Red Alert", 1989) on the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
ALTERNATIVES CAN BE FOUND IN THE LOWER CASE TO CHANGE THE NOISE DISTRIBUTION.
I WASN’T REALLY THINKING ABOUT THE CYRILLIC ALPHABET WHEN I DESIGNED IT, SO THE LETTERS: “А” AND “Л” AND “Н” AND “П” ARE THE SAME.
