(Inspied by The TI-92 Font)
A typeface designed to be ideal for coding applications. This typeface aims to be a simple pixel font that can both easily be read at small sizes and also look classy at the same time. Each character is designed to have its own unique shape to avoid confusing one character with another (something I found to be a common issue with most pixel fonts).
This is a cloneThis is another clone of Monkey (my monospace lanky font); it should be very similar to the original except for the lower x-height and the added accented characters (More Latin/Latin-1, Latin Extended A, Latin Extended B, and now Even More Latin/Latin Extended Additional). It is 16 blocks tall and 6 blocks wide; all letters without diacritics are at most 9 above the baseline and at most 3 below, but the accents push the height of a letter up by 3 blocks (or rarely 4), and the box drawing characters extend even higher, to 16 blocks from descender to the highest point. This font uses the FontStruct 2x2 filter method with plenty of composite and stacked bricks, which lets the curves look good at large sizes while remaining sharp on the screen at normal sizes. Mandrill will look strange in the FontStruct preview if you zoom in or out, but if you download it, it will look sharp at size 16 or 12 (depending on the program).
This is a clone of MonkeyA square monospace font, inspired by Slatewire (a previous project of mine), Agency FB, and Terminus. This font includes the full Latin and More Latin character sets, as well as Latin Extended A, most of Latin Extended B, and the basic Greek alphabet.
Want to see a magic trick? This font quickly loses readability when it is shrunk or enlarged from its original size! It's like an anti-font, judging you for wanting to use it.
I think this makes excellent placeholder text at small sizes, though to the uninitiated it might just look like blurry Braille.
This is a clone of CelLCDA clean 5x7 monospaced font designed for programming. The height is 7 pixels; total line height is 9 pixels due to descenders. The differences from Program5x7a are:
* total of 2 pixel spacing between lines (instead of 1), and
* un-squashed glyphs: gpqy.
There is a minor half-serif on the lowercase 'l' to help make it distinguishable from one ('1') and lowercase i ('i')
Example MacVim (OSX): set guifont=Program5x7b:h16
This is a clone of Program5x7aMonospaced typeface based on Otonokizaka Std II (https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1399114/otonokizaka-std-ii), which in turn is based on the Love Live! logo subtitle, with slight changes making some characters more legible at small sizes. Can be used as a high-DPI code editor font.
EDIT 6th May: Added most of Latin-1 Supplement. A boldface version is now also available (https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1401380/otonokizaka-std-ii-1-3).
This is a clone of Otonokizaka Std IITypeface based on the Love Live! School idol project logo subtitle. This typeface attempts to be more accurate than existing substitutes (OCR, Anvylon, White Rabbit etc.) (even though only like 14 of the characters are restorations).
EDIT 6th May: Added most of Latin-1 Supplement. Some punctuation characters now take as much space as the whitespace character.
