[i'm updating the font for now, making more Writing Systems...]
This is a clone of Glock Mono [PX]In the world of technology, fonts are a crucial part of creating a visual experience for users. From the earliest days of computing, fonts have played a significant role in shaping the way we interact with computers. Just like how handwriting can be a reflection of one's personality and style, fonts add a unique touch to the digital world. One of the most iconic fonts in the history of computing is the one used in old computers. This font, known as the Fixedsys font, was introduced in the 1980s and was the standard font for many operating systems, including DOS and Windows. Its simple yet blocky design gave off a retro, futuristic feel that was popular during that time. The Fixedsys font was also commonly used in early video games and software, making it a symbol of nostalgia for many technology enthusiasts. Despite its limitations, such as not having lowercase letters, the Fixedsys font had a significant impact on the evolution of typography in computing. It paved the way for other fonts to be created and used in modern computers, allowing for more creativity and expression in design. As technology continues to advance, it's essential to remember the humble beginnings of fonts and appreciate the role they play in our digital world, just like how the Fixedsys font will always have a special place in the hearts of old computer users.

This is a clone of 8-bit AnthonistructSome time after I decided to unleash Pixelbabania VI Deluxe onto the world, I deemed it appropriate to also create a light version to go alongside it. Had a good bit of fun making sure things looked right with this font, which also explains why I decided to fix its sister font while I was at it.
Here it is, at last. And just in time for the start of a new season, wherever in the world you all are.
4/12/2023 : Fixed up a few more glyphs of Box Drawing to make them work proper with their fellow glyphs.
I was annoyed that there was really no good recreation of the Minecraft font. So I made one and added some stuff like Hiragana and Katakana. :)
The Official Level Font, supporting glyphs from many Unicode blocks, including several alternate glyphs

I took a look at the very first font I published and looking back at it now, I couldn't help but think I could have done better and gone much further with it. Having learned a few things along the way when I was working on the light version of Pixelbabania, I decided to invest some time into working on a much improved version of Pixelbabania VI, while once again following a self-imposed limitation. This time, I decided to go with 6x9 (with some exceptions) to allow a bit more wriggle room and to make characters with accents much nicer, and even decided to change up some of the characters to improve their look. Not only this, I decided I'd try and see if it was possible to add more characters from other sets and thus far, it had gone quite nicely.
After so much time on and off, now I share with you the fruits of my labor and love.
Note: I have done what I could to get N'ko and to a lesser extent Adlam to play nice; unfortunately I could not get the tone marks to actually just go above or below the characters properly, therefore they will take residence right next to the character, taking up another space. Apologies for any inconvenience caused to those who type in those languages.
04/12/23 : Fixed up a few more glyphs in Box Drawing to make them look and work proper with the others.
это короче как vcr osd mono но лучше.
this font is like vcr osd mono but better.
This is a clone of 12x16 iskraA retro-styled font inspired by Art Deco and classic computer fonts. Looks like something you'd see in a video game from the 1980's that's set in the 1920's. Includes over 1000 glyphs from Latin and non-Latin alphabets. Best for decoration and titles.
Credit appreciated but not required.
This is possibly the biggest font I will ever create, and probably the one I'm most proud of at that. The original was built over the course of 4 months, and I'm very, very happy with how it turned out. Along with all of the 25 basic categories, I included 23 of my own - some finished, some unfinished. This has been a long process, sometimes fun, sometimes tiring, but I hope you find this font useful. Luckily, with all of the scripts it works with, it should have a use for everyone :) Please enjoy!
I am open to comments, suggestions and any other feedback. If you would like me to add another script, I am open to the task! :)
Edit: It's been more than a year and I'm still going strong! 6731 characters total. Trying to knock-off some smaller / less used scripts. :)
Jan 22, 2024: Fully finished font! 7500 total characters.
Thanks to everyone who has liked or downloaded! :)
a pixelated unicode font that can be read at small sizes.
14 sept '22, 17:47:11 hkt / massive update. added coptic, spacing modifier letters and improved readability.
This is the sequel to "Petermax's 3x5 and 4x6," with almost twice the number of characters. Many small changes have been made, especially improving the readability of the Vietnamese vowel characters. Various writing systems have been added: Tifinagh, Coptic, Ol Chiki, Runes, and Ogham. I also gave connected scripts a try: N'Ko, Mongolian, and Mandaic. Obviously these are not perfect, but I see them as a major improvement to the first. In this version, I was also able to add some extra Latin phonetics as well as some few Cyrillic diacritics. Some things are definitely out of control, as this program isn't completely compatable with right-left alphabets, such as Arabic, Mandaic, and N'Ko. If anything sticks out that should be improved, please let me know. Thank you, and please enjoy! :)
"Petermax's 3x5 and 4x6" is my first attempt at an extended set of characters. Though it is quite obviously imperfect, I'm quite impressed with how many I was able to finish. I tried to make each distinct and readable (all upercase), while still mostly maintaining the 3x5 pixels for lowercase and 4x6 for uppercase, thus the name. Please leave a comment if you have any concerns, thank you!
Basic Latin, Latin-1 Supplement, Latin Extended-A, IPA Extentions, Greek and Coptic, Cyrillic, Cyrillic Supplement, Armenian, Hebrew, Devangari, Latin Extended Additional, (Some) Currency Symbols, (Some) General Punctuation, (Some) CJK Symbols and Punctuation, Hiragana, Katakana, Vertical Forms, (Some) Halfwidth and Fullwidth Forms, Thai, Mongolian
Another attempt to make a readable font narrower than Arial Narrow. I am basing the letters on ovals now, to try to make them easier for my eyes to deal with at small sizes. Works well at size 9. Arial Narrow is still better than this at size 8.
This is a clone of UrialThe idea is to read other alphabets as if they were Roman.
This is a clone of CheckovsFunPixel + Serif
Best at pixel size (12px)
Because of the pixel design I was able to create lots of characters. Even control pictures (no matter if someone needs them). If you need more, just ask.
Cyrillic and IPA under construction.
Welcome to the Future...
Dramatics aside, QUANTUM is a visual display typeface designed to convey one cyberpunk future out of many.
It is intended to be built as a monospaced font (however, spacing errors occurred, and it is a faux-monospace as a result), made on a 9x10 pixel grid out of a personal fascination with the vision of the cyberpunk future according to the 90s and a desire to capture the "spirit" of the original Sony PlayStation. One of the leading sources of inspiration is the work by The Designers Republic (tDR).
This typeface not only features Latin characters, but also Cyrillic, Greek, and even a few Coptic characters for good measure (in hopes of easing in the old world into the future)
Currently Supports:
- English
- Some Latin
- Russian Cyrillic
- Google Fonts
- Georgian
- Hebrew
- Armenian
- Greek
- Thai
- Currency Symbols
- Arabic (WIP)
- Japanese/Katakana
- Bopomofo
I used Tile Molester (I didn't name it that way!) and extracted the Earthbound and Mother 2 font (English ROM and Japanese ROM) that was used in the game's menu and tried to combine and insert them here myself. (I used the Earthbound's Latin instead of Mother 2's bolder one, because most recognize it that way)
I've added a few hundred more glyphs to it, hoping this may come in handy for some fans out there. ^^ I'll add more languages (maybe use all the glyphs available) if you request it, otherwise, I'll only leave it at 878 glyphs. ;D
This font includes:
- Basic Latin
- More Latin
- Extended Latin A
- Extended Latin B
- Katakana
- Hiragana
- Greek and Coptic
To reference the game a little more... Katakana Middle Dot, More Latin's Middle Dot, and More Latin's Bullet are actually the middle dots that you see in the Japanese and English character naming screen, respectively. ^^
I don't have status conditions and the battle font in here, because it's pretty much its own font and I honestly can't find it in the game's file for some reason... (no clue what settings to use see those)
~This "is" MC font, except it has two times better quality and I added much more glyphs! Please tell me what characters should I add next :)
