'Repertor' is a display typeface inspired by hand-rendered calligraphy and brush stroke textures. The typeface evolved from exploring physical properties of my starting theme 'motion' and combining this with nautical elements, mostly found close to Bristol Harbour - the name 'Repertor' has been taken from a Thames sailing barge. My second script attempt, Bliss, is the result of mixing the classic elegance of humanistic italics and the roughness of the pixelization, that gives a "pencil like" feeling.

Inspired by a lack of hard work, sitting down and laying back. Remove yourself from stress and responsibility. Despite the theme this font arrived from investigation into missing letters, bars, stems and other parts. Experiments drawing with the wrong hand, eyes closed and allowing the pen to do its own thing. 'The new italic'. A font for those who generally cant be bothered.
First year Graphic Design module for UWE Bristol. Theme = Lazy.

An italic dot matrix font, using just one shape on a 13 high grid. (Based originally on Arno Italic)
