This is a pixelated font containing the Latin alphabet, including many letters with diacritics and more obscure yet common Latin letters, roman numerals, punctuation, the Cyrillic alphabet, the Greek alphabet, the Hebrew alphabet, Japanese Katakana, Japanese Hiragana and the Georgian alphabet.
A multi-outline design with intentional aliasing.
At the original size, it looks nicely textured. The illusions become more harsh as one zooms in.

Original size: 12.75pt (use multiples of this size for pixel perfection)
Recreation of the pixel font from Sega's "Asterix" (1991) on the Sega Master System.
Note that the font is 13px tall, as it includes some accented characters (which in game are rendered by stacking the accents above the appropriate character on the preceding line).
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
This font relates to my original theme, ‘Messy’, which was developed based on the Brazilian slums, Favelas. In Western culture, these are viewed as ‘messy’, however in Brazilian culture they take great pride in their homes. This reflects the idea that people respond to the same theme in different ways depending on their cultural context. This font is designed to be used at large display sizes of 100pt or more as this means that the detail in each character can be clearly seen.
