Intended to loosely imitate the lettering of the popular "xkcd" web comic. The letters, drawn by a casual but legible hand, fit snugly together with a hint of an overhang.

When the half-angle blocks were first introduced I thought I would be the last one to produce an old style or transistional sans-serif typeface. Looking through the gallery, I still don't see any attempts. Creating a serif font with blocks is very much a square peg for a round hole, but I enjoyed the challenge. I tried to emphasis all the minor details, like angled stress, or the bottom terminal of the lowercase b. I spent a lot of time on this months ago, but after a while, just lost the drive to complete all the characters. Maybe you're up to the task.

Saw the fab xe Micropolis by xenophilius and remembered I'd been working on this cityscape font for ages, then forgot about it. I've been experimenting with ufo's and clouds for the lower case which should appear over the city. Some day, I'll do some more work on it!

After choosing the theme asymmetric my thoughts went straight to the face of odin, because of the eyepatch, and since odin was the one that gave the germanic tribes their characters (according to the mythology) the idea of basing this font on ancient norse runes was born. I really wanted that feel of rough, stone carved feel, straight lines were a priority, plus I really wanted to give it the sensation of eroded and old. The name futhark comes from the first six letter of the runic alphabet.

Font idea taken from the typography from posters for the Smashing Pumpkins Arising tour, back in 1999. As williaum has pointed out, that font is Ironwood. It occurred to me that it would make a very easy Fonstruction. And it was! It's the perfect font for your iron-on Motorhead t-shirt decal. Named after the curmudgeon monk in "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet.

Inspired by the cursive aesthetic from pauldhunt's lovely Structurosa Script. I tried to play around with the kerning so there's the illusion of a continuous line.

You've got to have intestinal fortitude to finish some of these wretched fonts. I'm going to file all the non-qwerty keys off my keyboard...

Like Masphalt, the original inspiration for this one comes from Stefan Kjartansson's Black Slabbath. I think I played enough with it to make it my own. Like the two-story lowercase g and lowercase a. Squishing that middle stroke really gave this one a personality. I kept all the counters rectangular, try not to hide the hard edges. This is my first time going through the diacritics to give me a holler if you see something wrong. This is a clone

The Indonesia–Malaysia confrontation was an undeclared war between Indonesia and United Kingdom-backed Malaysia over the future of the island of Borneo from 1962 to 1966. The origins of the conflict lay in Indonesian attempts to destabilize the new federation of Malaysia, which came into being in 1963.

Originally knocked together very rapidly in order to enter Typophile’s Type Battle 21. As promised, I've now gone back to add extra characters. Getting there!
