P.S. There’s a starting character on Í (option+shift+s for Mac). Spaces can be used to pad the wave effect and create shapes and background textures. Enjoy!

This is a revised and extended version of the original. Some spacing and kerning problems may occur. Capitals, lower case letters, numbers, punctuation marks, and special characters are included in this file. The remaining part of the extended Latin set, most notably the diacritical marks, come as separate download. Vertical scale bars secure same size rendering of the separate parts. A play on brickstacking, 'Brutal' is an experiment in creating a one brick fontstruction for multilayered screen printing. To use this font, you simply need to layer the uppercase alphabet on top of (or underneath) the lowercase alphabet (see below for a sample).

Obviously, it doesn't look like much in the Fontstruct preview.

The inspiration for this typeface came about when I was putting together this Flickr gallery of modular multi-colored lettering.

The first 25 downloads are all mine. It was a hard one to test.
