This offers a very imperfect and lofi feel. wheather its use if for an art project, branding or body text, Pure Pen (Bold) embodys the character of messily hand drawn letters. This is the bold version as to create it I went over each letter afew different times to make the lines thicker and also exagerate the scrappyness of each character and then made that digital.

Steel Script is a typeface heavily inspired by the types used on Soviet era propaganda posters. The characters are bold, and highly geometric, designed to convey the type of themes conceyed in those old soviet posters such as power, unity, and a sense of urgency. A few of the letters such as N, R and E have been flipped backwards which refers to simular looking letters from the Russian alphabet which was the predominant language used by the Soviet Union. This typeface also is capital letter exclusive as well as not featuring any numbers.

“8-Bit Blackletter” by Isaac Lawrence

8-Bit Blackletter evokes the feel of a traditional newspaper masthead, which often feature bold, blackletter typefaces to signify heritage and trust. By combining this classic and more analoge style with the pixelated digital aesthetic, this creates a nostaligc yet contemporary feel, blending the historical weight of print journalistm with the blocky, simplified look of digital type. This makes it perfect for design referancing both past and present.
