This is my take on a 3x3 alphabet. It is monospaced and all letters are set as uppercase, even though the case varies in the glyphs.

6x6 characters designed for use as 8x8 sprites with 1 pixel of padding in each direction, to allow for more compact text containers. 4 pixel x-height, 1 pixel each for ascenders and descenders.

I think Arcade Neue is a fun name :)

Three pixels x-height, two for ascenders, two for descenders. A bunch of characters that definitely don't fit in the seven high grid are included.

Monospaced font based on a 3x5 matrix with simple shapes.

x-height is three pixels. Ascenders and descenders are one pixel each. Variable widths. Kerned.
