Friends, I'm asking for help! Which "R" do you prefer? The one with the straight, or curved leg? I'm split, because personally I much prefer the straight leg, but curved seems more consistent with the rest.

----------------

The term "sidereal" (/saɪˈdɪəriəl/) refers to a measurement of time based on the position of stars.

Industrial, geometric, display, extended, modern, uniform weight. Based on a 2-brick tall grid. Inspired by Microgramma/Eurostile and the Terminator logotype.

"Prototype" means that this is not the final verison. In this case, FontStruct has been used as a fantastic preliminary design tool. But due to its limitations, the font will have to be reworked. Not by much - only the ⅝ roundings will be made circular in a traditional font editor, I'll be introducing optical improvements, and real kerning will also be implemented.

FontStruct's kerning tool is extremely rudimentary (understandable), and honestly, because of that, I left the kerning in a really messy state, it's kind of beyond repair at this point, as I don't really know what's what anymore. Oh, and also - due to limitations of the nudge tool, the ampersant (&) is offset to the right by half a brick, I tried to fix it with kerning as well, and it kinda works, but that will be fixed in the final version, outside FontStruct.

Thor Ragnarok is the funniest of all the Marvel films. I can watch it over and over. There is so much respect for Jack Kirby’s art style all over land of Sakaar. Growing up I never really appreciated Kirby’s artwork, as I leaned toward more graphically detailed artists. It wasn’t until much later that I recognized his great contributions to the entire language of visual expression in sequential art. First experiment with my beloved katakana, it means that I may have caused some technical mistakes here and there, but overall I'm happy with the result. Katakana matches futuristic style a lot and provides many ways to play with letters.

I'm really proud of this one, it was a pretty huge challenge, because I started building on a very small grid. Making a oblique, techno font (using 4x1 composites), with decent spacing and rich character set could be painful even in high resolution. Although sometimes I, or FontStructor did not keep pace (see the Yen symbol). Gosh, why there are no

bricks!?

There's a tiny "K Graveyard" in Extended Latin A, somewhere around K-like characters, there's also a different version of nine. Please take a look there and tell me if one of these K's is better than K that I decided to use. Any other suggestions are very, very welcome.

<strike>So let me give you all a...

Alright, enough controversy. I'm straight, nevermind. </strike>

This is a remix of my most popular font, Sector 017, but this time it's clean and simple, only leaving random cuts and angles here and there. Still, it's a super-duper-techno-futuristic font.

A loooong time ago someone asked me to do a version without the famous eroded pattern. So I created this FontStruction and I've been working on it for... more than a year. Why so long? LOL I DUNNO.

Similar version is visible in many designs of TAMRECORDS (a Russian neurofunk record label) and the credit goes to Pixel Junglist, an Ukrainian artist who is responsible for their artworks (I guess he is...). He remixed the original Sector 017 as well, I think I've just made his job much easier :).

There are "Basic Latin" and "More Latin" character sets available +Polish and Cyrillic characters.

Take a look here: http://www.behance.net/gallery/TAMRECORDS/568101

It doesn't mean that I'm not going to rig up a nice sample pic. It's gonna be at least about 20% cooler than the one I made for Sector 017.
