Gothixel Mono. A blackletter-style monospace font for small pixel sizes. One half of the Gothixel font family.
Gothixel Mono proudly supports Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, and Hebrew character sets. It also has a big inventory of characters with diacritics, including those necessary for Vietnamese and polytonic Greek.
Gothixel Mono's majuscules are one pixel wider than the minuscules, and the font's default tracking is on the wide side to accomodate this. You can tighten the tracking if desired, but in that case, all-caps text will run together. If you need appropriate space between all letters, I recommend Gothixel, the proportional-width font. However, Gothixel is further behind in development and doesn't have as many character sets yet.
This font family was originally named "Blackletter RPG".
~This "is" MC font, except it has two times better quality and I added much more glyphs! Please tell me what characters should I add next :)

This is a clone of DigitalisExperimental 24-segment display or massive monochrome Mondrian matrix. Pixel compatible!
The thinking behind this one was that with incongruously sized segments arranged in the proper way, I would create a design which was effectively 5x5, but which accomodated more glyphs than 5x5 usually does. Negative space is incorporated into the structure of many glyphs, though not enough to classify this as an IVO design.
"Qualtron" is the name of an imaginary entity that a friend believed in - a being meant to represent the result of "a mathematical equation that can rule the universe". I didn't inquire further about it... :D
*
Design Rules:
1. Segments can have interior length/width of 2 or 5.
2. The central 2x2 square must always remain open.
3. Square bricks and 90-degree angles only.
*
Original size: 20.75pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
CAPITAL LETTERS HAVE A WHITE STRIKETHROUGH. LOWERCASE LETTERS ARE COMPLETE.

This is a clone of LazzaroThis is a rendition of one of A. V. Hershey's dot fonts from his 1967 paper "Calligraphy for Computers", the "Cartographic" (sans-serif) font, plus a number of glyphs imported from the "Mathematical" font, as well as many additional glyphs drawn in the same/similar style to the original glyphs. This font actually dates to at least as early as June 1963, as it is featured on some diagrams in Hershey's "The Plotting of Maps on a CRT Printer" paper.
Nirvanite Fossil with round shapes changed to diamonds.
I think this one is the toughest to read in the family - even harder than Nirvanite Pixel. Oh well!
This is a clone of Nirvanite FossilAlternate take on Nirvanite, this time with bullseyes rather than solid circles as the large segments.
This one is a lot more organic than its predecessor, but also a lot more confusing. Looks like clusters of alien tadpole eggs to me!
This is a clone of NirvaniteAenvidere (the normal weight version) still needs fine-tuning and kerning. That will come, eventually :) At the moment I'm quite busy doing too many things concurrently.
Check the font description for AlexGar-Aenvidere for details.
At a later date I'll publish a squared-off version of this. Aenvidere SQ will have the same glyph style but will be wider than the other versions which might make it less useful as a "tool" to attract attention when added as splash insert in text that uses another Aenvidere version.
My final entry in the competition. Inspired by Mazey, zlabyrinths eYe/FS, and wavelength. Each glyph has its own maze, and each maze connects with the next. Tilde ~ and low line _ connect words, grave ` closes beginnings and ends, and the left and right arrows < > are for the start and end. There are also some alternates in Extended Latin A. Suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks!
UPDATES:
04/06/14 The whole font has been updated to be one brick taller, and thus properly fit onto a grid. Also, some characters have been redesigned. V2.0
05/13/14 All punctuation has been modified to continue a word maze. V2.1
07/05/14 1000 downloads! Hooray! As a 'thank you', I've completed more of More Latin. V2.2

An extension of ideas present in "Gehenna".
A 117-segment display made to have a more "mosaic" look. Try using this one at odd sizes, especially with antialiasing off! The resulting distortions occur in a consistent way which leads to many new uses for the font.
