This bold typeface was used in teeny tiny places in the Classic Mac UI— not at first, but starting in System 3.0, then landing in the new Get Info and About the Finder dialogs by System 5.0. It's often used to annotate other UI, and was the title font for floating windows in the Platinum theme that debuted in Mac OS 8.

I believe it's the standard 10pt Geneva font, smeared one pixel over to appear bold. At least one other user has produced a standard weight 10pt Geneva.

“Charcoal 12” by Rezmason

A clone of Charcoal size 12, from Mac OS 8 and 9. Created by referencing Infinite Mac: https://infinitemac.org .

I'm using this for a personal project, thus it's only the few symbols I'll be using (Basic Latin, I suppose, but don't quote me on that). I'm also not an avid FontStruct user. I encourage folks to fork and improve this font.
