One theater project, and one school year out of the way, I can now return in full force to Fontstruct. It is great to be back and fonstructing. As always, do enjoy this font! So happy to be home!

    Welcome back! :)
Very creative font, but some letters like J,K,M,Z,T,8 are problematic,IMHO.

What do you think should be improved on those letters? I would love your input! @winty5

    Ok here goes:
capital i looks a bit strange, one part should be shaded.
J just looks a bit weird in text
M is not that legible, maybe more like an upside down W?
Z and S should be symmetrical
    T looks kind of like a 7
    8 just looks WEIRD!
    Hope this helps

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Origami” is now a Top Pick.

@winty5, maybe it's your computer but the S is a reflection of Z. But I like your other suggestions, and I will make the changes soon. @cohnisgone & @p2pnut & @meek, thank you!

How'd you get grey in the letters?
Comment by CBoison 11th June 2014
He used a ton of dots as a shader.

You might want to fix "8"

Comment by Brynda1231 Meyerholt (brynda1231) Sun, 18th December

I think the 8 is ok, based on the Bb it fits. Change from the comfortable 0&3 look would probably require changing the shading sequence, angles and/or maybe the shape of 0&3 :/

Comment by Aeolien Sun, 18th December

@Aeolien - I believe that @brynda1231 means that the '8' has an error with a missing vertical line of bricks, not that the design is inconsistent with the other glyphs...   ;^)

Actually, a lot of the glyphs seems to have missing bricks, especially parts of smooth (non-pixel) diagonals.  Perhaps an error due to a recent FontStruct upgrade?

@Goatmeal:aah yes, thanks! I increased my screen beyond default and saw quite a few 'gaps'.Could be due to FS changes. @Brynda: it would help if you described the problems you see ;) (please)
