I had an idea one day that transformed into this font. It's been quite a while in the works, but now I have Basic Latin complete. In extended Latin A, there are letters with adjusted width, so they fit better with other letters. Someday I'm going to make a version with OpenType kerning. Work in progress, suggestions very much welcome.

UPDATE: 08/08/13 I made new double-story g, adjusted the angles of A, V, W, v, w and y, and added taller numbers suggested by j4s13.

I think the first b/s are the best, not sure about e.

I agree with Yautja… the top row works best, and yes perhaps the e could use an angled cross-stroke. The second b is very cool though and maybe it could inspire a different/companion font.

I would go for the first row as well - and I was thinking the same as fugitiveglue about the alternates being the basis for a different design.

Thanks, everyone! I'm adding more letters, and I'll definitely develop another font out of the alternates.

@fugitiveglue: I created another alternate e with an angled cross-stroke. I've made a second image and included it.

A isn't the best... but otherwise, good font.

How about flipping A horizontally?

nice start for this serif typeface. may i add my suggestions?

- the (first) A should be wider
- the a's upper terminal should be shorter
- the diagonals of v and y look too stout

also, i'd prefer the first e and the first s. they both fit nicely to the rest of the characters.

looking forward to seeing the rest...

Should say: "I also was inspired by will.i.om's Ohm Run Slab." Click the link on the period to see my rendition.

Great work! :-)

@opipik, four, laynecom: I fixed the A; I think it fits in much better now. Thanks for the suggestions.

@laynecom: I also fixed the a, and I'm working on the v and y. They were the first versions I made, and I hadn't fixed them up yet.

@dm: Thanks, your version is also very cool!

I like how the alternates say 'bbeess'. XD

The A in AE looks a little thin.
