... and delicious illegal angles. And edge-of-legible. It's too fussy to be much good but I like the clash of those stretched angles.

Wow. I really didn't think it was much cop. Now I will have to take the finishing of it more seriously. Before I started I saw that c in my head. I did the caps version of that glyph at the same time as the l/c to make sure I wasn't going to run into a caps/lower case weight problem. Then I fired ahead with the rest of the lower case, which didn't quite live up to the look I was after (Do they ever?), so I was a bit disappointed. It was, however, a lot of fun puzzling over the joins between the stretched angles and the conventional ones.
The caps promises to have just as much "fun" quotient. Ha ha. Not least of which the spacing issues.

I let this one go off the boil, which is kind-of fatal for me. There are already enough bricks in it to build Hitler's Berlin. Usually I go hell-for-leather and "finish" a font all at once. Maybe I can attack this one piecemeal, now that the initial attack of love has evaporated(sniff).

@intaglio: Now that you are in a period when you seem to have difficulties to forge new concepts, why not look back at some of your most extraordinary concepts of the past like this one and try to make them more definitive and achieved. I know it's difficult, but as you know i'm a severe updater who comes back often to earlier works to push even further their boundaries. Believe me, it's an incredibly satifactory, would i say, "endorphinic" sensation when you succeed and pass to the next level with a work which was still "in potentiality", and now looks "released" after so much time!
