Hey there! When you are editing the font, go to the preview and then click 'Advanced'. There you can change the space.
I would change the 'C' and the 'U', but all in all very creative. I think it´s more difficult to produce an 1x1 by stacking than by compositing, so well done!

Thanks! I never thought to use the menu in Preview mode, I just figured it was for previews. This place really needs a wiki or tutorial series, there are so many awesome features not easily apparent.

Oh and also, I agonised over the C and U but they were the ones I was happiest with. There's only so much I could do while keeping a somewhat consistent feel.

Cool solutions there, the only thing that really annoys me is the I with its blank on the left, I would have used your "/" sign instead to avoid this annoying sensation.
