Clone of zlabby eYe/FS by elmoyenique (initial concept & awesome design, all uppercase characters, limited punctuation).

My contribution to this font project (this derivative font with the reserved name "Slabie") is to add a lowercase characters letterset and add more punctuation - modified by Doug Peters of Symbiotic Design (2018).

If you like/use it, we would appreciate credit for our contributions to the font design.

Frankly, even if you began with a clone of Elmoyenique (only UC) font, i see more 2 separate works here, and i don't think your Lc set is adapted to the more straight Elmo set. This said, i find your Lc set very cool and inventive, by the way, even if in my opinion it lacks a bit of  global equilibrium, even in its "distorted" way; i've been there, and i hell know how it's difficult to achieve, this kind of balance on a basis of distortion. I think this work deserves you digging a bit more and maybe try a UC set of your own reflecting more the crazyness of the UC, and definitely different from Elmo's. I personnaly would begin to take your Lc as "real Lc" by its size and make a bigger UC set

@cirque traumaccord... Cool.  I wasn't thinking of changing it up that way, but yeah, that sounds like fun.  I did plan on taking another stab at the lowercase, but never thought the other way around.

Elmo is definitely a master at the typographic form and has such impressive style.  I wasn't trying to match that here, now, but as I ventured down this path I kept getting ideas of how to work the lowercase out in a style that was much more black, and complementary.

Certainly, thanks for the idea, though, I'm very keen on the concept, now.

Interesting vision, especially lowercase g, now, that's a character with character :). And you should be proud to attract cirque traumaccord attention, that's even a bigger achievement. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Thanks, @architaraz... I really have to take a break, I have a website with no content, another missing a section, and misspelling on another.  One of them I want to use to promote the fonts.  But now that I have learned some kerning, whoa, that really can make the font look great.

I am suddenly feeling pretty special though, with your praise, as well, I have to keep going.  I just hope some of this work pays off.  ;)

I think i noticed extra bricks on the lowercase f... If you slide the letter spacing in the fs preview all the way to the right, you can see them...
