Decidedly better than the original. The version looks like it can breathe better now. At first glance of the lowercase, I think thinning out the arcs where they meet the stem would further improve breathability. In other words, tighten up the crotch areas - the look like they're adding unnecessary weight. I always enjoy the creativity you put out, beate. Some of your work makes me wonder about the choices you've selected, and I'm responding quickly because sometimes when I look too long, there are too many questions, as with db Melitta. And its sad when you retract a font from public release. But with this one, I'm wondering why so many different ascender heights on the lowercase?
Comment by geneus1 4th July 2015
An excellent refurbishment - subtly refined.

However I agree with geneus1 about the ascender (and descender) heights (depths?)
Comment by p2pnut 4th July 2015
This version looks definitely more polished than the first one. The sample text looks nice and even. 10/10

@geneus1: It's funny you've mentioned the "crotch" region. This term is seldom used in typeface anatomy, mostly refers to the branching area of the "y", but describes perfectly what you've meant to say.

geneus1 & p2pnut

As you can see, some things I have changed yet. Never thought that it would be come so complicated. But I will not give up to early : ) It ought to be just a simple Sans

So, thank you for your good comments.

Ok, some of it was still in a bad way, but 1 point? That I can not understand!

Cheers,
db

Always ignore the trolls. They want attention, negative or not. But anyways, the splayed /M is not my taste, the /S is a little narrow, the /R and ®'s leg should IMHO go outward slightly more as it looks slightly imbalanced, the /J needs a little distinction from the /I, the tilde needs less contrast and a little refinement on the curves, the comma is heavier than the quotes, the pound/octothorpe/hashtag needs to be slanted with a little less contrast. Great, just needs to be reviewed.

Very consistent typeface with a beate touch. Could the terminal of the r be a tiny bit bolder? I don't know... But I do know that I would use it as a poster font. Love it!

¡Suculenta (succulent)!, better than the first version, like Frodo7 said.

Is this a vector one ???
bravo great work.
I have a small comment about lowercase e the middle bar could be a bit thicker because it change the color of the font... but even then the whole font is absolutely great
