This font is designed to look alike Soviet typewriter font. A similar font was used by early-90's Russian-developed word processor, 'Lexicon' by Eugene Veselov.

New Haven is a wide slab serif based on the logo of the old New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad (commonly called simply the New Haven). See also New Haven Line, a display version with a drop shadow line. Includes diacritics, old style and lining figures, alternates, ligatures and a few NH logo ornaments.

This is half-baked, but hey. I'm (reluctantly) going to have to forego some of those pesky diagonals because they're looking just a shade on the wrong side of weird. Particularly in the caps.

There's a glitch in the file: lower-case y misbehaves. Looks OK on its page but go to the preview and it screws up. The glitch moves along just under the baseline. Interesting. I hope it hasn't rendered the file unfixable.
A font so willfully bad it's almost good.
