Hiding letters in them came to me by accident when I did an overlay instead of a straight copy-paste. The letters are very difficult to see but for tiling interesting units in large sizes this font should be suitable.I%20was%20playing%20with%20tiles%20and%20designed%20this%20font%20as%20units%20to%20create%20visual%20texture.%20Hiding%20letters%20in%20them%20came%20to%20me%20by%20accident%20when%20I%20did%20an%20overlay%20instead%20of%20a%20straight%20copy-paste.%20The%20letters%20are%20very%20difficult%20to%20see%20but%20for%20tiling%20interesting%20units%20in%20large%20sizes%20this%20font%20should%20be%20suitable.

The brief we were given was to design a typeface using a key word, mine being 'ornate'. My ideas initially stemmed from architecture and then to the tilling within. I used elements I saw within the tile design and transferred them into my Fontstruction.This%20Fontstruction%20was%20designed%20for%20my%20first%20module%2C%20%27Communicating%20With%20Words%27%20at%20UWE.%20The%20brief%20we%20were%20given%20was%20to%20design%20a%20typeface%20using%20a%20key%20word%2C%20mine%20being%20%27ornate%27.%20My%20ideas%20initially%20stemmed%20from%20architecture%20and%20then%20to%20the%20tilling%20within.%20I%20used%20elements%20I%20saw%20within%20the%20tile%20design%20and%20transferred%20them%20into%20my%20Fontstruction.

I have been able to reach this stage after 5 weeks of continuous development, sketching and experimentation which I focused around trying to create a bridge between 2D and 3D fonts.
