This system uses a separate symbol for each of the 12 tones in the chromatic scale, based on the Tonnetz. The symbols are formed in a 4x3 pattern generated by cycles of 4 shapes (orientations) and 3 colors (fill pattern). Staff lines go down the page, pitches across (see StaffKlavar for more details). Inspired in part by Roy Pertchik's patented tri-color vibraphone. Scores can be created in text mode with spreadsheet or word processing software. This set is designed for alternative notations such as modified PianoRoll or KlavarSkribo, using a 12-position grand staff (7-5 or 6-6) , with the staff lines running vertically down the page, the pitches spread across. Version 1 provides note heads with finger numbers and some markings for accent, staccato, and rests. Digits 1 2 3 4 5 create solid (black) noteheads with corresponding finger numbers for the right hand (stems right). Digits 6 7 8 9 0 create the notes for left-hand fingers 5 4 3 2 1 (stems left). The capital letters Q W E R T (RH) and Y U I O P (LH) create corresponding hollow noteheads (white). Noteheads are 7 squares wide leaving 1 square between for staff lines. Comma and vertical bar | provides fractional spacing to align noteheads on 1/2 width boundaries; Staff lines are entered with brackets and bars. Square brackets [ and ] provide (unoccupied) staff lines (light and dark); Curly braces { and } provide corresponding staff line segments above/below a notehead on the line. You will have to color in your half notes to make quarter notes and draw flags etc. this should save a bit of time. If I get enough positive feedback I will try to make some time to improve it, but for now this is all I need.for%20those%20who%20are%20tired%20of%20drawing%20out%20all%20their%20music.%20You%20will%20have%20to%20color%20in%20your%20half%20notes%20to%20make%20quarter%20notes%20and%20draw%20flags%20etc.%20this%20should%20save%20a%20bit%20of%20time.%20If%20I%20get%20enough%20positive%20feedback%20I%20will%20try%20to%20make%20some%20time%20to%20improve%20it%2C%20but%20for%20now%20this%20is%20all%20I%20need.
