If you type out the alphabet in rows of three, the pattern becomes easy to see. Called COS-9 because the name uses a symbol from each grid.(First attempt at a font.)This%20is%20a%20variation%20on%20the%20Monoalphabetic%20Substitution%20cypher%2C%20and%20is%20based%20on%20a%203x3%20grid%20pattern.%20If%20you%20type%20out%20the%20alphabet%20in%20rows%20of%20three%2C%20the%20pattern%20becomes%20easy%20to%20see.%20Called%20COS-9%20because%20the%20name%20uses%20a%20symbol%20from%20each%20grid.%28First%20attempt%20at%20a%20font.%29
