Category: -5%20downloads540%20glyphs40This%20is%20my%20first%20fontstruction%20for%20a%20typeface%20project%20at%20UWE.%20I%20chose%20to%20make%20a%20font%20under%20the%20theme%20%E2%80%9Crepetition%E2%80%9D%20and%20wanted%20to%20create%20a%20simple%2C%20pixel%20art%20styled%20typeface%20with%20certain%20continuous%20elements%20in%20it%20to%20make%20my%20theme%20clear%20for%20the%20viewer.%201Lifer%20is%20a%20display%20font%20inspired%20of%20gaming%20culture%2C%20especially%20the%2080s%27%20classic%20arcade%20games%2C%20such%20as%20Tetris%2C%20early%20Super%20Mario%20Bros.%20and%20Space%20Invaders.%20I%20found%20the%20tiled%20shapes%20used%20in%20these%20games%20as%20a%20helpful%20resource%20to%20creating%20my%20own%20font%20%E2%80%93%201Lifer%20is%20also%20made%20from%20simple%2C%20pixel%20based%20forms.%20I%20was%20also%20inspired%20by%20the%20gaming%20arcades%27%20bright%2C%20blinking%20lights.%20The%20name%20of%20the%20font%20stems%20from%20terms%20in%20relation%20to%20gaming%20and%20is%20a%20playful%20merge%20between%20the%20two%20expressions%20%221%20up%22%20and%20%22no%20lifer.%22
