Amarone typeface has an elegant serif resemble the below part of a wine glass and a heavy ball as a drop of wine. Beside two prominent features, extreme contrast width, rounded corners and square shape are common parts of all letters.

Monospace, single-case display font based on simple geometric rules. Starting with a square, alphanumeric characters are created only by rounding corners, adding a center hole, or adding vertical or horizontal slots, with few exceptions.
Expanded from a logotype designed for a portfolio piece- interesting for titles, headings, and other decorative use but too stylized to be legible in larger blocks (try it out though!)

The idea was to come up with a friendly chubby fella.
And for all I know I think I have done just that. In the end, it does seem to appear it came out with a slightly bigger forehead than the average (but, no love was lost here, we have come to learn to appreciate the misfits).
Despite its weight and slightly clumsy appearance this juicy Mr. Boogie still got dat funk, and can not wait for it to be the next saturday night.
Even so, when he for once isn't told to "Swing and Boogie" he still is nice to have hanging around. His friendly persona is only to be matched by the ever so nice soft curves. "No sharp edges to detect here".
I can only hope for that all of you come to appreciate him as well! ;-)

CONCEPT:
The idea was to make a letterform that has a friendly looking design. I tried to achieve this by way of softening all hard convex corners with a smooth rounded curve. And by "all" I litteraly meant, even on all diagonals, accents, thin strokes and stroke tips (Nothing was left untouched).
For all the concave corners, so the negative space (white space) of the letters have multiple solutions depending on what is happening (does it curve, intersect and or wether a stroke continues or not)
The curves all have near hi-res looking (a couple of minute imperfections) but otherwise smooth surfaces, and there are multiple custom created ratios/transitions, such as:
1.5×1.5, 2.5×2.5, 2.5×3, 3×4 (+ The bullet is a 7×7 circular dot)

This is a clone of zoyuz eYe/FSI found the original Spheretta-5,7 while looking for "dotty" fonts, to make sure that the font I'm doodling at the moment will look a little different from others on FontStruct. I liked Spheretta and as cloning was allowed by the creator I made some changes as Meek's many innovations enrich our creative thinking **smile** The original font was created in 2011 by arseniiv.
I smoothed the circle, worked into existing glyphs where I thought 'necessary' (nudges, ~re~moved some dots in glyphs or added dots to reduce some gaps).
Comparing parent and clone: changes are a smoother circle, a few symbols, the Lower Case for Basic Latin and most Latin1 positions, some operators/symbols are available with as well as without the UC circle. And that I have broken the 5x7 rule in some glyphs to improve their lines.
In the LC glyph style (no circle) you have: full stop, comma, all quotation marks on Basic Latin and Latin1, apostrophe, asterisk, plus, minus, solidus, colon, semicolon, percentage, less, more.
The low line is a blank circle; decorative dot arrangements inside a circle are on the tilde, left square bracket, grave accent.

I've added arseniiv's name and this parent-Fontstruction's year of creation on the first letter of the ""Even More Latin"" band, then added mine on the second letter on the same band. Feel free to add more glyphs (and your name and creation year, following ours), arseniiv allowed cloning so that we can add to his work. I follow his idea; and like him I, too, can't find enough time to continue working on Spheretta-5,7 for the next months. It would be great to see Spheretta-5,7 grow some more ...

A YouTube user named, Willow Rolfe, So it's time to make a typeface for real.
Cassie is a Decorative font with connection brick forms with a connecting macaroni triline and connecting macaroni biline with a Straighten half snapped-stripes that give the font looks clean & rounded.
This makes for a more natural reading rhythm more commonly found in decorative types. This font was made by Swedish Type Corp.
By popular demand, I'm very proud to present you this recreation/digitization of Maxim Zhukov's Meander (an experimental modular type design from 1972, which was used in cover artworks for Stereolab's Dots and Loops album and Miss Modular EP).
Now supports Cyrillic characters and includes other custom-made glyphs, like numerals and punctuation marks.
