I used the idea to create the illusion of the type, I recorded myself saying pronouncing each letter then used the shape of the soundwave generated to create the form, each letter is different and is like a cutout held in front of an image of that letters soundwave.Font%20created%20for%20a%20project%20at%20UWE%2C%20my%20key%20word%20was%20%22LOUD%22%20.%20I%20used%20the%20idea%20to%20create%20the%20illusion%20of%20the%20type%2C%20I%20recorded%20myself%20saying%20pronouncing%20each%20letter%20then%20used%20the%20shape%20of%20the%20soundwave%20generated%20to%20create%20the%20form%2C%20each%20letter%20is%20different%20and%20is%20like%20a%20cutout%20held%20in%20front%20of%20an%20image%20of%20that%20letters%20soundwave.

The theme is called Vibration and this font is based on sound waves. I did quite a few experiments before coming out with this final font. I looked at different types of vibrations and the movement of the waves. I decided to work with lines because it gives the font a sense of motion.This%20is%20a%20project%20for%20my%20Graphic%20Design%20course%20in%20UWE.%20The%20theme%20is%20called%20Vibration%20and%20this%20font%20is%20based%20on%20sound%20waves.%20I%20did%20quite%20a%20few%20experiments%20before%20coming%20out%20with%20this%20final%20font.%20I%20looked%20at%20different%20types%20of%20vibrations%20and%20the%20movement%20of%20the%20waves.%20I%20decided%20to%20work%20with%20lines%20because%20it%20gives%20the%20font%20a%20sense%20of%20motion.

This is my typeface, Crumble, developed from the theme of decay. As my first time using FontStruct I struggled at first getting the feel of the programme and this is my final outcome. Throughout the process of creating my alphabet I realised some limitations I’d inadvertently set myself and therefore had to simplify my design, however the end result is one that I find effective due to this simplicity.My%20name%27s%20Josh%20and%20I%27m%20a%20graphic%20design%20first%20year%20student%20at%20the%20University%20of%20the%20West%20of%20England.%20This%20is%20my%20typeface%2C%20Crumble%2C%20developed%20from%20the%20theme%20of%20decay.%20As%20my%20first%20time%20using%20FontStruct%20I%20struggled%20at%20first%20getting%20the%20feel%20of%20the%20programme%20and%20this%20is%20my%20final%20outcome.%20Throughout%20the%20process%20of%20creating%20my%20alphabet%20I%20realised%20some%20limitations%20I%E2%80%99d%20inadvertently%20set%20myself%20and%20therefore%20had%20to%20simplify%20my%20design%2C%20however%20the%20end%20result%20is%20one%20that%20I%20find%20effective%20due%20to%20this%20simplicity.
