It is a take on german spitzschrift. The s is the long s and the $ is the short s. I'm working on the capitals. I wanted to create a playful typeface which at the same time pushed Fontstruct to it's limits. This certainly succeeded in the second. I spent lots of time playing with wax crayons. Who says an artist has to grow up? Just heads up, this font is a bit of a system killer due to the size and complexity of the glyphs so be patient and gentle when using it. In an attempt to unify, I modified the LC a bit... it’s more boxy than the original (hence the name) but hopefully retains the personality.It%20took%20some%20experimenting%2C%20but%20I%20finally%20found%20a%20way%20to%20make%20caps%20that%20were%20complementary%20to%20the%20quirky%20little%20%E2%80%9Csmall-grid%E2%80%9D%20face%20I%20designed%20months%20ago.%20In%20an%20attempt%20to%20unify%2C%20I%20modified%20the%20LC%20a%20bit...%20it%E2%80%99s%20more%20boxy%20than%20the%20original%20%28hence%20the%20name%29%20but%20hopefully%20retains%20the%20personality.
