The project was to centre a typeface around a theme and to create the typeface on Fontstruct. My chosen theme was Motion. I chose to use the motion of water for the basis of my project and used its properties to distort and disfigure popular serif typefaces. After many experiments with baths, basins and trips to the local fountains Alphawet was created.A%20typeface%20created%20as%20part%20of%20our%20first%20project%20on%20the%20Graphic%20Design%20course%20at%20UWE.%20The%20project%20was%20to%20centre%20a%20typeface%20around%20a%20theme%20and%20to%20create%20the%20typeface%20on%20Fontstruct.%20My%20chosen%20theme%20was%20Motion.%20I%20chose%20to%20use%20the%20motion%20of%20water%20for%20the%20basis%20of%20my%20project%20and%20used%20its%20properties%20to%20distort%20and%20disfigure%20popular%20serif%20typefaces.%20After%20many%20experiments%20with%20baths%2C%20basins%20and%20trips%20to%20the%20local%20fountains%20Alphawet%20was%20created.
