109%20downloads10914%20comments1427%20glyphs27A%20favorite%20of%2052%20users52I%20began%20by%20exploring%20the%20theme%20of%20decaying%20objects%2C%20such%20as%20fruit%2C%20and%20studied%20the%20shape%20%28and%20change%20of%20shape%29%20of%20the%20objects%2C%20as%20they%20progressively%20fell%20apart.%20By%20creating%20hand%20drawn%20sketches%20i%20began%20to%20create%20a%20typeface%20that%20looked%20as%20though%20it%20was%20rotting%2Fmelting%20away.%20I%20used%20a%20traditional%20typeface%2C%20Times%20New%20Roman%2C%20that%20could%20be%20considered%20as%20quite%20boring%20and%20a%20font%20which%20has%20been%20around%20for%20a%20long%20time%20and%20then%20used%20it%20as%20a%20base%20font%20which%20i%20then%20made%20to%20look%20as%20though%20it%20was%20rotting%20and%20falling%20apart%20by%20refering%20back%20to%20my%20earlier%20sketches.%20Overall%20I%20aimed%20to%20create%20a%20typeface%20that%20represents%20the%20decay%20of%20an%20older%2C%20more%20traditional%20and%20perhaps%20overused%20typeface.

11%20downloads112%20comments2122%20glyphs122A%20favorite%20of%202%20users2Karuso.%20As%20in%20Robinson%20Caruso.%20Because%20it%20should%20be%20shipwrecked%20on%20a%20deserted%20island.%20That%27s%20where%20I%20planned%20to%20leave%20it%20in%20private%20%28and%20you%27re%20probably%20thinking%20that%27s%20where%20I%20should%20have%20left%20it%29.%20Check%20the%20creation%20date%20-%20it%27s%20been%20stranded%20for%20a%20while.%20%0D%0A%0D%0AThis%20is%20the%20first%20in%20a%20set%20of%20text%20face%20experiments%2C%20and%20it%20reveals%20the%20beginnings%20of%20an%20evolution%20of%20high%20contrast%20fontstructing%20over%20a%20minimized%20grid%20space.%20%20Not%20all%20glyphs%20are%20how%20I%20wanted%20them%20to%20be.%20Some%20may%20be%20hideous.%20The%20spacing%20is%20terrible.%20But%20as%20a%20fontstruction%2C%20this%20one%20really%20got%20me%20to%20push%20the%20bricks%20to%20develop%20some%20resemblance%20of%20a%20Times%20Romanesque%20sharp%20serif%20typeface.%20Many%2C%20many%20tricks%20had%20to%20come%20in%20to%20play%20to%20make%20this%20happen%20at%20its%20current%20state.%20Overlapping%20bricks%2C%20brick%20stacking%2C%20overlapping%20brick%20stacking.%20It%27s%20all%20in%20there.%20I%20learned%20a%20lot%20from%20this%20insane%20attempt%20just%20from%20the%20lowercase%20letter%20forms%20alone.%20I%20mean%2C%20just%20look%20at%20that%20g%21%20Try%20it%20at%20your%20own%20risk.%206x8%20grid%20space%2C%20Double%20XY.%20%0D%0A%0D%0ABut%20don%27t%20worry%2C%20this%20is%20as%20bad%20as%20it%20gets.%20It%20does%20get%20better%20from%20here%2C%20but%20only%20a%20little%20bit%2C%20so%20don%27t%20get%20your%20hopes%20up.%20Stay%20tuned.Periódico Text Regular OT
