f%C3%A6ces%20germanici%2C%20%22the%20dregs%20of%20the%20germans%22%20%2C%20inspired%20by%20german%20gothic%20letterings%20%2C%20was%20an%20assignment%20made%20by%20my%20typography%20professor%20to%20make%20a%20modular%20font%20that%20was%20both%20functional%20and%20a%20styllistic%20reference%20to%20the%20Bauhaus%20philosophy%20and%20method.%20%20i%20named%20it%20%22the%20dregs%20of%20the%20germans%22%20simply%20because%20i%20named%20the%20font%20made%20for%20a%20previous%20assignment%20%22mookystinks%22%20since%20i%20regard%20all%20of%20my%20work%20as%20crap%2C%20i%20liked%20the%20idea%20of%20actually%20naming%20something%20i%20was%20proud%20of%20for%20once%2C%20as%20shit.
